Barbara Rienzo is co-author of The Politics of Youth, Sex, and Health Care in American Schools which treats the history and political dynamics of school-based health clinics. About her involvement with the Center for Spiritual and Health, she says “I am delighted to be part of a Center that focuses on the science and art of spirituality and health. My work with the Center is to coordinate the university’s educational offerings in this arena. It is gratifying to share the plethora of scientific, academically enriching work that has accumulated over the past decades that provides a foundation for understanding the complex relationships between spirituality and health. We have offered over a dozen different courses over the last two years in at least six different departments on campus.”
